Dangling Aerial Cables in Cikoko Urban Village Tidied Up

Aerial cables on a number of roads in Cikoko Urban Village, Pancoran Sub-district, South Jakarta were tidied up thus it would not spoil the aesthetic and endanger the residents.

"Hopefully, by tidying up aerial cables, the environment becomes tidier and more pleasing to the eye,"

Cikoko Urban Village Head, Fadhilah Nursehati stated, this tidying work was carried out since Monday (1/20) to follow up instruction from South Jakarta Mayor, Munjirin.

"Aerial cables are tidied up by PPSU and Bina Marga personnel. There are eight points with various lengths, from eight to five meters," she mentioned, Wednesday (1/22).

She detailed, the aerial cables tidying work was carried out at three points on Jalan Cikoko Barat III with a length of 12 meters; on Jalan Cikoko Barat I with a length of 4 meters; and Jalan Cikoko Timur I with a length of 4 meters.

Then, on Jalan Cikoko Barat II with a length of 4 meters; Jalan Cikoko Barat IV with a length of 5 meters; and on Jalan Pengadegan Utara Raya with a length of 4 meters.

"Hopefully, by tidying up aerial cables, the environment becomes tidier and more pleasing to the eye," she conveyed. 

For information, the South Jakarta Administrative City has tidied up 5,212 meters of aerial cables on January 20-21, 2025.

The 5,212 meters of aerial cables that were tidied up included 1,022 meters in Tebet; 996 meters in Setiabudi; 807 meters in Kebayoran Baru; and 553 meters in Pasar Minggu.

Then, 495 meters in Pancoran; 415 meters in Jagakarsa; 344 meters in Kebayoran Lama; 340 meters in Pesanggarahan; 135 meters in Cilandak; and 105 meters in Mampang Prapatan Sub-district.
